Biography

Mira Maylor has exhibited in Israel, Europe, and the US for over fifteen years. In addition to numerous prestigious and world-renowned shows and private galleries, her works have been exhibited at the Rome Sculpture Biennale, the Vittoriano Museum in Rome, Pierre Bergé in Paris, The Palm Springs Art Museum, and others.

Curator at the Eretz Israel Museum, Henrietta Eliezer Brunner, on Mira Maylor:

“Maylor is a versatile artist….her combination of disparate materials underscores their special power and expressive qualities. In her artistic work she often engages - humorously and ironically – in contradicting perceptions, shattering myths, dealing with issues related to identity and alienation and the multiplicity of meanings, and critically examines local and universal symbols”.
